In Bole the machining parts manufacturer from China, there are 9,000 m2 production base for prototyping and manufacturing. Machines cover 5-axis & 4-axis & 3-axis machining centers, lathe turning machines, milling machines, injection molding production line, die casting production line, sheet metal fabrication machines and SLA (Stereo lithography) 3D printing machines.
Bole, as the machining parts manufacturer from China Dongguan, we will initially choose suitable manufacturing method according to corresponding CAD files
Basically, a CAD file can mostly determine which technique to take for the machining. Sometimes a part can be processed out with this or that technique. At that time, the production scale (Order scale) can further determine which technique exactly to use. However, for rapid prototyping, in most time, clients just need to get the prototypes ASAP. Hence, we need to provide professional suggestions to clients.

Prototipazione rapida
La prototipazione rapida è un gruppo di tecniche utilizzate per fabbricare rapidamente un modello in scala di una parte fisica o di un gruppo utilizzando file 3D prima di costruire gli strumenti.

What manufacturing method to be taken? Let’s see how production scale influences
Before illustrating what technique to use for a certain order, I must clearly point out a simple concept – The more machines you can use for a bulk order, the faster you can finished the production. However, in most cases, CNC machining is more ideal for prototypes, customized parts or small batches like 1 ~ 100 units. 3D printing is more ideal for rapid prototyping, parts with complex geometries or those one-off parts. Vacuum casting is more suitable for producing small batches of plastics parts (10 ~ 50 units)
Sheet metal fabrication and die casting are generally taken for producing 100 ~ 10,000 units of parts. Specifically, sheet metal fabrication is more cost-effective for metal parts in medium-scale. Die casting is suitable for producing those metal components with more consistent quality under medium-to-high scale. At the other end, CNC machining is also widely used for producing parts under such scale, especially for those parts with high precision requirements or complex geometry. We recommend a potential oversea purchaser to know more CNC machining parts manufacturer from China. Only talk to those real manufacturers to get more professional guides.
As for higher volume of plastics parts that are more than 10,000 units, apparently, injection molding has the best cost performance. It’s highly economical for large volumes of plastic parts. If you have a large volume of metal parts that is not necessary to use CNC machining, in most cases, we recommend using die casting as it can bring more consistent quality with lower unit cost.

From above analysis, we can see that materials also influences how to manufacturing machining parts.
Well, let’s specially look into materials’ influences
Obviously, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and die casting are used for parts made of metals (Aluminum, steel, brass, etc.). Die casting is the primarily option for aluminum, zinc and magnesium alloys.
Plastic parts made of ABS, nylon or polycarbonate can be produced from injection molding (high-volume) and vacuum casting (low-volume). More or less, it’s a little bit interesting that a lot of people don’t know that CNC machining can also be used for processing plastic parts, especially those ones with high precision requirements. As for 3D SLA printing, more clients use this technique for making rapid prototypes for functional testing.
For producing parts made of elastomers and silicone material, vacuum casting and injection molding (high-volume) are the dominant techniques.
I need to emphasize the CNC machining technique in Bole
Bole is an experienced CNC machining parts manufacturer from China Dongguan. In Bole’s 9,000 m2 production base in Chang’an Dongguan, various CNC machining centers take the largest portion among the 200+ precision processing equipment. We are one of the major manufacturers with complete authorizations and certificates.
In Bole, 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machining centers are for machining those middle complex parts. For those very complex parts, DMG 95, DMG 65 or HERMLE C650 is used.
Authorization and Certificates of Bole
At last, it’s crucial for a CNC machining parts manufacturer from China to have the well ability of efficient surface finishing
Bole trained experienced workers to complete the last step – Manual deburring and surface finishing.
