What Is Vacuum Casting?

Vacuum casting is a process that uses a silicone rubber mold and polyurethane resins to reproduce parts under vacuum. A master model is made by CNC or SLA, then a silicone mold is poured around it. Typical Vacuum Casting Workflow

1. Project & CAD Review: You share 3D data and requirements; we review feasibility and make suggestions.
2. Master Model Fabrication: Master model is produced by CNC or SLA and finished to final surface level.
3. Silicone Mold Making: Silicone is poured around the master and cured, then the mold is cut and prepared.
4. Vacuum Casting: Polyurethane resin is mixed, degassed and poured into the mold under vacuum.
5. Demolding & Finishing: Parts are taken out, trimmed, finished, painted or assembled as required.
